About Mariia Kurtynina
Since 2025, Mariia Kurtynina has been pursuing a post-graduation course in fortepiano with Gilad Katznelson and a Master’s degree in harpsichord with Eva-Maria Pollerus at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. She previously completed her Master’s degree in fortepiano there with Jesper Christensen, Dmitry Ablogin and Alexander von Heißen. She has received important artistic inspiration in courses with, among others, Pierre Hantaï at the Music Academy of Villecrozeand and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. Performances have taken her to venues and festivals such as the Beethoven-Haus Bonn, the Utrecht Festival and the Alte Oper Frankfurt. In 2023 she was a semifinalist at the Chopin Competition.
